Castle Rock Campout Nov 2010

November 6 (Saturday): Meet at the Olinder parking lot, 7:30 am (depart asap)

Lunch and Dinner as a Troop.

Sunday Breakfast as a Troop.

Return home around noon. Scouts will be dropped off at their homes

TBD cash grub money - Reimburse Owen/Eric Heckman directly

Water and a fire ring available at campsites

Basic Kybos at campsite

There will be a 3 mile hike into the campsite from the Castle Rock parking lot.

We will be camping at the Castle Rock Trail Camp which is a first come first serve campsite with 20 sites - each site can hold 6 campers.

No fires unless the rangers decide there's been enough rain. Then firewood can be purchased from the ranger cabin at the campsite for $7/bundle.

Each car will need to pay for a campsite when they park at the parking lot or pay as an extra vehicle. We will most likely need 4 sites (2 Scout, 2 Adult). If there are 4 cars driving, each car will need to pay for a campsite ($15). If a fifth car drives, then it just needs to pay as an extra vehicle for one of the campsites ($8). This fee is reimbursable by the troop. (?)
