Troop Activities Include:
- Troop campouts at local beaches, parks and mountains
- Backpacking
- Hi Sierra summer camp, local Council camp
- Winter Hi-Sierra Camp
- Merit badges
- Service Projects
- Junior leadership training
This Troop is SCOUT LED. Current size is approximately 17 scouts / 3 Patrols.
There are three groups of scouts within the Troop.
- First-year program for new scouts includes a comprehensive training and advancement program that propels these scouts to the rank of the First Class within a year if they attend a majority of the meetings and campouts.
- Middle-group scouts are the First Class and above, and typically 7th & 8th graders. Their work is oriented toward merit badges and advancement toward Star rank and Life rank, along with preparation to join the Venture Patrols.
- Venture Crew are High School aged and at least at their Star Rank. They have additional High Adventure outings and extended trips.
